offense & defense to squad that finished 9-4 in 'll. Top 4 ballcarriers are back, led by REX BURKHEAD [284-1,406-15 TD last
season]. Burkhead [3-68] ran for
57-yard TD last weekend.
Martinez threw for 13 scores/8 INT last season. Huskers look to 49th
postseason appearance, and are 24-24 overall but have lost last two bowl games
['09 Holiday, 19-7, to Washington; '10 Capital One, 30-13, to South Carolina]. Bruins went outside UCLA family in
hiring Mora, who spent 25 seasons in National Football League. Mora had head coaching stints
w/Atlanta Falcons & Seattle Seahawks.
He spent past two seasons as TV analyst before rejoining coaching
ranks. UCLA finished 6-8
last year, losing Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl to Illinois, 20-14. Bruins' 49 points were most
scored by UCLA since 45 in '07 season-opening win over Stanford. RB
