It was another wild week in college football, as five unbeatens went down to defeat. No. 2 Florida, No 7 Oregon State, No. 11 Mississippi State, No. 15 Rutgers and No. 24 Ohio all lost for the first time.
FLORIDA ATLANTIC [2-6, 1-4 Sun Belt] @ NAVY [5-3, Independent] -- With a victory Saturday at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium, Midshipmen are bowl eligible and headed to San Francisco.

Last weekend marked the halfway point of the college football season. Seven weeks down, seven weeks to go.

Parity is alive and well in college football.
USC [4-1, 2-1 Pac-12] @ WASHINGTON  [3-2, 1-1 Pac-12] -- Trojans venture northward for Qwest Field contest against Huskies as LANE KIFFIN & STEVE SARKISIAN, assistants under Pete Carroll at USC, square off anew as sideline supervisors of USC & Washington, respectively.

We took our first scouting trip of the year last weekend and caught the Navy-San Jose State game in Annapolis. It was a good chance to see two teams that could end up in our Bowl on Dec. 29 opposite the Pac-12.
WASHINGTON STATE [2-3, 0-2 Pac-12] @ OREGON STATE [3-0, 2-0 Pac-12] - Two teams with identical scoring numbers collide in Corvallis.
