WASHINGTON [3-3, 1-2 Pac-12] @ ARIZONA [3-3, 0-3 Pac-12] -- Eventual postseason hopes for each team could well ride on outcome of Arizona Stadium matchup.
Huskies fell to #9 USC last week while Wildcats are rested following week off.    Washington must somehow contend with Arizona's high-flying offense that is 3rd among Pac-12 squads with 37.0 ppg average; Huskies defense meanwhile stands 8th at 25.8 ppg allowed.   Wildcats also lead conference in total offense [553.8 ypg] but face Washington defense that ranks 4th overall [355.2 ypg allowed].   Game could turn on how well Arizona's top-ranked pass offense [370.8 ypg] fares against Washington's pass defense [172.7 ypg].     Arizona RB KA'DEEM CAREY [126-670-10 TD] is Pac-12's No. 3 overall rusher and his 10 ground scores are more than anyone else.   Wildcats senior QB MATT SCOTT [186-289-2,114-13 TD-7 INT] leads all Pac-12 passers and accounts for league-best 352.3 ypg.   Huskies junior QB KEITH PRICE [114-186-1,080-7 TD-6 INT] looks in direction of soph WR KASEN WILLIAMS [33-362-4 TD].   Scott's prime targets are duo of soph AUSTIN HILL [42-608-5 TD] and senior DAN BUCKNER [39-513-2 TD].  Arizona's RICH RODRIGUEZ is in his first Pac-12 campaign following previous HC assignments at West Virginia [2001-07] and Michigan [2008-10].    Next Three Games:   Washington - Oregon State, at California, Utah.  Arizona - USC, at UCLA, Colorado.  The Series:   29th meeting in series that began in 1978.   Washington has won 18 times to 9 for Arizona with 1 tie.   Last Washington win:   2011, 42-31 @ Tucson, AZ.   Last Arizona win:  2010, 44-14 @ Seattle, WA.   Kickoff:   7:00 p.m. PDT/10:00 p.m. EDT.  TV:  Pac-12 Networks [regional cable].
