Why isn't Boise State - instead of Nevada - facing Boston College tonight? The top team from the WAC was to get a bid for the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl, and Gary Cavalli, the bowl's executive director, had his pick of Boise State and Nevada, both 7-1 in the WAC and 12-1 overall.

Pack Helps Serve San Francisco Community

A day before one of the most anticipated games in Nevada football history, the Wolf Pack players took time on Saturday to help the needy. The team took the time to help serve lunch for hundreds of needy and homeless people at the Glide Memorial Church before Sunday's inaugural Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl at AT&T Park.

 SAN FRANCISCO - The Emerald Bowl is a result of a combination of events -- positive and negative.

ESPN and the Emerald Bowl "won the night" among all TV networks (broadcast or cable) by averaging 4,535,000 homes (as well as viewers; People 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54; and Men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54) based on a 4.6 rating for the Emerald Bowl.
