THE BOWL TO FILL ALL BOWLS

In two short years, the Bowl has donated over 200,000 meals to the Bay Area's Hungry! A BIG thank you to our fans for their support! We hope to make it to 300,000 by year three!

Our Efforts:

Donation

• In partnership with Macy's and the Sacramento Youth Football League, the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl donated ONE MEAL for EVERY ticket purchased to each of our three local hunger organizations: the San Francisco Food Bank, the St. Anthony Foundation and the Glide Foundation. This year we donated over 80,000 meals!
• This fall we auctioned off multiple Bowl Week experience packages. The packages included items that fans couldn't get elsewhere, like pre-game field passes and autographed memorabilia. Proceeds from the auctions went toward our donation efforts. A big thanks to everyone that bid on the packages! Be sure to check the website throughout the year to see what we might have to offer!

• During Bowl Week, each team spends time giving back to the Bay Area. This year, the UCLA Bruins volunteered at Glide, and the Illinois Fighting Illini took a trip to St. Anthony's. Both teams worked to prep and serve meals to San Francisco's needy. By volunteering, the players not only help the Bay Area hunger crisis, but they also gain awareness and a new perspective. We hope the players are inspired to continue to give back to their own communities.

• Over at Glide, UCLA players were making unexpected contributions as well. After finishing his shift, one of the UCLA players approached the Bowl's staff about making a donation. Before boarding the bus, he donated $50 to the Glide Foundation and left a lasting impression on everyone.
• Thank you to Kraft Foods for donating food to both St. Anthony's and Glide that was served during the team visits!

• This year our fans donated more than $2,500 to our hunger relief organizations by donating online, either while purchasing tickets or when visiting our website! Thank you for making a difference in your community!!
• Donations can be made year round to the San Francisco Food Bank, the Glide Foundation and the St. Anthony Foundation.

• Throughout the fall, Bowl staff, Board members and Bowl volunteers served the community at Glide, St. Anthony's and the San Francisco Food Bank. The Bowl team will continue to give back throughout the year.
